I saw this galvanized tin container at the Dollar Tree and just really liked it. I had no idea what I would use it for at the time but bought it knowing if nothing else I would put a plant or two in it. I was also looking for a solution for hand soap and lotion when I realized it would make an interesting container for them on our vanity.

I then bought 2 pint sized "Mason Jars" also at the Dollar Tree and lids with pump dispensers to fit at Hobby Lobby with 40% off coupons. I added hand soap to one and hand lotion to the other. After placing them in the tin I still had some room so I added a recycled salad dressing bottle, filled it with water and added a cut branch from a bush in our yard to give it some color. Easy, inexpensive and a nice addition to the bathroom.
Total cost: $5.00
